In 7th it's kinda weak compared to that (imho, but I could be completely wrong on that) I don't think I could adopt to such powerful magic easily and have fun. I mean you are right with everything you say I am pretty sure, but still, those few wind of death or purple suns that decided a whole match in turn 1 or 2 in the battle reports. (I admit that I never played 8th edition except one game where I got cheated and tabled by a tournament player who wanted to show me the game).Īnd when my friend and I spoke about getting into fantasy, I thought about the few games I had in 7th and how viable nearly everything was on a non competetive level.
